Blade.org is a collaborative organization and developer community focused on accelerating the development and adoption of blade server solutions. The organization provides leadership to the blade market and fosters a thriving industry ecosystem focused on delivering valuable solutions to blade computing customers.

Blade Systems Alliance
In cooperation with the worldwide community of data center professionals and advanced systems users, the Blade Systems Alliance (BladeS):
· Promotes multi-vendor best practices for modular systems management and racking.
· Works with the user community to address real-world data center and advanced computing issues.
· Delivers information, programs and forums to educate and inform.

FibreAlliance
The goal of this innovative, industry consortium is to develop and implement standard methods for managing heterogeneous Fibre Channel-based networks of storage systems, connectivity equipment and computer servers, which are also known as storage area networks, or SANs.

FCIA
The Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA) is an international organization of manufacturers, systems integrators, developers, systems vendors, industry professionals, and end users. With more than 190 members and affiliates in the United States, Europe and Japan, the FCIA is committed to delivering a broad base of Fibre Channel infrastructure to support a wide array of industry applications within the mass storage and IT-based arenas. FCIA Working Groups focus on specific aspects of the technology that target both vertical and horizontal markets, including storage, video, networking and SAN Management.

The Green Grid
The Green Grid is a consortium of information technology companies and professionals seeking to lower the overall consumption of power in data centers around the globe. The organization is chartered to develop meaningful, platform-neutral standards, measurement methods, processes and new technologies to improve energy efficient performance of global data centers. Membership to The Green Grid is open to those companies and information technology professionals with an interest in helping to support the movement to improve data center power consumption, and improve overall efficiency.

InfiniBand Trade Association
A new switched-fabric input/output (I/O) connectivity standards group formerly known as I/O. InfiniBand™ Architecture defines a new interconnect architecture providing new levels of functionality, scalability, and performance for a wide range of platforms and price/performance points.

SCSI Trade Association
The SCSI Trade Association is dedicated to promoting the understanding and use of Parallel SCSI Interface Technology.

SNIA
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) is an international computer system industry forum of developers, integrators, and IT professionals who evolve and promote storage networking technology and solutions.

Storage Networking
StorageNetworking.org is a non-profit initiative managed by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Information Storage Industry Center (ISIC) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). ISIC is a social science research center that studies the business dynamics of the data storage industry.

IOL
The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) is a neutral, third-party laboratory dedicated to testing data networking technologies through industry collaboration. Since 1988, the laboratory has fostered multi-vendor interoperability while preparing UNH students for careers in the industry. The laboratory has grown steadily into one of the industry's premier independent proving grounds for new technologies.
