H.K. Desai is the Chairman of the Board and Executive Chairman of QLogic Corporation. Mr. Desai was appointed President, CTO, and interim CEO of the company in August, 1995. In January, 1996, he was appointed CEO, and in May, 1999, he became Chairman of the Board. In November, 2010, he was appointed Executive Chairman. In this role, HK will be actively engaged with strategic customers, technology and product roadmaps, as well as program and product execution priorities.

Largely credited with the company's increased growth and earnings, Mr. Desai focused QLogic's resources on developing new markets and customers. Under Mr. Desai's leadership, QLogic led the I/O industry in innovative technology development, diversified into new markets, and drove additional growth through acquisitions. Since December 2000, QLogic has consistently made the list of Forbes' Best 200 Small Companies.
