Mr. Humphrey joined QLogic in September, 2011. He is responsible for promoting QLogic's vision, and building awareness of QLogic products and solutions in the global marketplace, in addition to overseeing public relations, advertising, industry events, web communications and social media initiatives. Mr. Humphrey has more than 16 years of business and marketing management experience including leading global marketing and related strategies for a diverse range of industries including: enterprise software, embedded computing, storage networking, scientific instrumentation and security. Prior to joining QLogic, Mr. Humphrey served as vice president and general manager for a global strategic business unit within Honeywell Life Safety (formerly Sperian Protection) and has held senior roles at companies such as Lantronix, Applied Micro Circuits (formally JNI), Tyco Fire and Security and Teledyne (formally RD Instruments).
